Origami: from cube to pyramid
Our signature model takes on two distinct forms with a single zip. Its story began with a game of folded paper.
Origami is MAEYJA's N°01. It takes its name from the art of paper folding, because it too was born from a single piece that takes shape as it folds.
With the long zip that runs along its edge closed, the bag stands like a soft cube. Open the zip and the leather folds in on itself, turning the form into a pyramid. One bag, two silhouettes over the course of a day.
Few pieces, much thought
Architecture, design and music are Canan Delettre's greatest sources of inspiration. You can see it in Origami: no ornament, no unnecessary stitching. What holds the form is the leather itself.
Carry it in the hand or over the shoulder on its slender strap. Its red has become our signature. Ivory, green and black also leave the atelier.
